~ Contessa 2010 ~

Hey Everyone,

I have been SOOOOOO excited to share these images with you all. A few months back I worked with Janelle from Hair FX to put together a collection for her Contessa 2010 submission  :)

Janelle is a very good friend of mine, and I love watching my friends excel in everything they do. I am so blessed to have so many talented people in my life who I can share a passion with me on so many levels.

Along with Janelle and I, we had our other great friend Janique of Fine Eyes Make-Up Artists work her magic.

In the end, we came up with what you will see below. The deadline to submit work is closed and now we wait to see who made it to the semi finalist round, so the images are free for your eyes to see. The images that are in the competition will be scene when Janelle wins LOL. Last year Janelle made it all the way to the finals, we were all so excited for her and know she will take it home this year!!!!

One of my PASSIONS is fashion photography, I love the posing and the limits you can push. So I was able to use that passion I have inside of me and do some of the posing I love so much:))) I can’t wait to showcase next summer some of the ideas I have about mixing fashion with bridal:)))

~ Allison & Aaron Married ~

Helle Everyone,

This past Friday I was so excited to photograph this Wedding. Ali and Aaron booked me about a year and a half ago. I also hadn’t shot a Wedding at Fort Whyte in about 4 years. So I couldn’t wait:)

The weather was perfect and the Wedding party was so easy and fun to work with. Myself and Kaitlyn had a great day photographing everything the day had to offer:) One of our highlights was driving around in the golf cart all afternoon lol:)I think Kaitlyn and I had too much fun giggling while Aaron drove us around.

I also have to mention how great the food was at dinner, if you are looking for a Venue with great food, I would give Fort Whyte a call:)))

The timeline was really fun, I met up with the girls in the early afternoon, and we heading out to Kings Park for some shots of the girls alone, while Kaitlyn headed over to the guys place. The guys went on an adventure I was told lol and it sounded like they all had a ton of fun:)))  Thanks Kaitlyn, I had a blast with you as always:)))

Enjoy:)))

I just love this photo Kaitlyn got of the guys. It shows their personalities so well. They were too much fun:)

~ Melanie & Scott Married ~

Hello Everyone,

This is going to be a HUGE post. There is no way I can show this Wedding story to you showing less images.

This Wedding was one I was looking forward to for a really long time. Not only because they are an beautiful amazing couple, but I knew all the other Vendors who were part of the Wedding and knew it would be HUGE.

Where to start. A huge thank you to Kelly Bik ( another amazing Wedding Photographer here in Winnipeg ) for helping me out and taking amazing photographs as usual. When I sat down to look through all their images from the day. I was floored by how many amazing shots Kelly and I both took. This will be quite the amazing Wedding Album, and I can’t wait to make one:)))  Kelly met the handsome men at The Airport Hilton. I didn’t add any of those shots here as I have way too many photos to add, so you will see those in the slide show at a later date. Kelly thanks so much for all your hard work at this Wedding. We had a blast and it was perfect to have you there, I couldn’t image a better partner to help me capture the day.

All the AMAZING flowers were from none other then THE FORAL FIXX formally know as Whyte Ridge Florists. I was blown away by all the flowers I saw. This is where I went for my Wedding Flowers and all my friends and clients I send their way. So professional and their final product is always perfect.

I have to give a HUGE shout out to Pam over at Cake-ology:)The cakes were amazing. Melanie surprised Scott with a cabin cake. They are building a new cabin and Pam did an amazing job putting in all the special details that were special to the lovely couple:)

Amici was the caterer, their reputation is amazing and their service and all the yummy food was amazing as well.

Now last but not least, Madeline…what can I even say about Madeline. Madeline owns Madeline’s Weddings and Events for all of you that follow my Blog, you will have seen a lot of her amazing work before.  Madeline and I spent many phone calls talking about how excited we were about this Wedding. We couldn’t wait for the big day. When I arrived in the morning, Madeline and her team were putting together all the final details. It looked STUNNING and she hadn’t even finished all her finishing touches yet. If you are looking for a Wedding planner, Madeline and her team are where you should go. When I got married last year, she made everything perfect. She kept my nerves down and made sure to take care of everything. She was my angel:) She didn’t skip a beat, everything was flawless and I remember looking over and seeing Melanie and Scott hug her and say over and over how perfect everything was. Madeline, not only are you an amazing friend of mine, but you are a true talent. I am blown away with your work ethic and all your amazing advice you have shared with me about the Wedding Industry. I am so proud to call you my friend.

What a great day this was, I got to work alongside two of my best friends and the result shows in the images. Enjoy:)))

~ Jessy & Donavin Married ~

Hello Everyone,

I have been a bit behind in my Blogging. So it’s time to add some goodies to look at.

A month back I shot this gorgeous Wedding. Were we very lucky that the sky cleared up for a few hours so we could get some shots in.

I love Country Weddings because of the fields and relaxed atmosphere. I also had the great opportunity to work with Moments, their decor was gorgeous, and the photos show it!!!

I have to express a HUGE thank you to Kelly Bik from Kelly Bik Photography. Not only is she one of my BEST friends, she is also another talented Photographer in Winnipeg. We love shooting with each other, so whenever one of us has the day off, we are right there second shooting for one another. Since our styles are pretty much exactly the same, it leads to an amazing power team. When I look at the Weddings we have shot together, it’s usually some of our best work b/c our energy and skill levels compliment each other and it’s amazing. Kelly will be shooting with me twice in the next two weeks and I can’t wait to see what we come up with. And I can’t wait to shoot with Kelly on her next couple of Weddings:) Because of the weather Kelly was a  BIG trooper guarding me from the rain and the bugs. Thanks Kel, love you lots xoxoox.

So now I leave you to the photographs. Thanks so much Jessy & Donavin for being so great, enjoy married life to it’s fullest!!!

xo,

Michelle
